Where to go next?

Until now I’ve been diving in the Netherlands, Sint Maarten, Spain, Greece, Roatan, Honduras and Egypt.

What is my best divespot (until now)?
Until now I must say Sint Maarten and Hurghada, Egypt was really nice for diving. In Sint Maarten I really liked it to see the turtles and reefsharks while diving. On the other hand Hurghada had so many fish, great walls, wrecks and gardens to see with lots of coral and all type of color fishes. There is so much to see while diving.

The boat, Red Sea Star of Voodoo Divers, where we went diving with in Hurghada, has everything and all day long you can enjoy the marine life. Think of relaxing, sunbading, chatting with other divers, excellent boat crew to help out with your diving gear and a nice lunchbuffet provided. All other dives until now were with little boats without this type of luxury. At the end of the dive day you can have a drink in the bar or go for diner in Hurghada. The dive school is located at the Bella Vista Beach Resort, but we stayed just across the road in Redcon Suites.

My first dive outside the Netherlands
My first dive location after the Netherlands where I did my padi was Sint Maarten. Maybe therefor it is also one of the favourites. Everything was new and the island is nice as well if you don’t want to dive all days of your holiday. One thing I had to get used to was diving along reef sharks. I wasn’t sure how I would react underwater by seeing sharks during diving. I managed, but they do pass by really close as these were pretty curious. We went diving by boat from Divi Little Bay Beach resort, but we stayed in an appartment at the borders with the french part. I must say I like the French side more, it’s not as busy as at Simpson Bay.

Roatan, Honduras
Enjoy a perfect get away at the Luna Beach Resort . When you arrive at the resort after a drive from a very steep road you enter paradise. A small resort which has everything right at the beach and a diving school Blue Moon.

The boat is located right in front of the resort. Only 15 minutes by boat we already went into the water. Apparently close to shore there is a drop off, at the wall you could see a lot of beautifull corals, small live and fishes. At the end of the second dive we were also lucky to see a turtle passing by. After the second dive we returned to the resort, where we relaxed and have something to drink and lunch.

On my lists are the Philipines and Indonesia.
Anyone other suggestions what I must have seen?
