Have you seen the last episode already? Emily has visited Giverny, which reminded me of my visit to the gardens of Monet. Without falling into the pond. Close to Paris there is so much more to discover from France.
The gardens of Monet in Giverny
Within 1,5 hours from Paris you can travel to the gardens of Monet, Giverny. Walking through the home and the gardens of Monet feels like walking in a real painting of Monet. As if in a botanic garden there are so many types of flowers and plants.

As soon as you cross the street by the tunnel you come into the garden famous of the oil paintings ‘ The Water Lilies’ of Claude Monet. It seems there is a series of 250 paintings of the Water Lilies, which are in various museums all over the world. Good to know is that the garden is only open from 29th of March till 1st of November 2024.

Garden Christian Dior
From Giverny you can travel in 2,5 hours to Granville to the house and garden of Christian Dior. Christian Dior was born and raised in Granville. His parents bought the house in 1906. Together with his mom they created the garden, because they both had the love for plants and roses. Since 1997 it’s the museum of Christian Dior. Within the villa you can see beautifull haute couture through the centuries of Christian Dior.
